With August flying by, we are quickly drawing a close to summer, which means it’s time to start considering fall activities. Fall is an excellent time to set new fitness goals, try new classes and perhaps for many of us, get back on the nutrition band wagon!!
Setting goals is very important no matter what fitness level you are, as having a clear and concise endpoint allows you to structure your training appropriately. Just be sure to keep the goals specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and on a timeline (‘SMART’)…. set short (1-4month) goals and long term goals (4-12month), and don’t be discouraged if you have setbacks along the way, as we all do at some point!
